Session Length
Each session runs for 45 – 60 minutes.
Please arrive on time for your training sessions. Training sessions will finish at the allocated time even if you arrive late. We encourage you to arrive to the training venue 10 minutes prior to the commencement of your training session so that you may warm‐up. This way you will be ready to begin training immediately.
Session structure
We do instructor-led group workouts for people of all fitness levels. It’s our job to teach you how to exercise properly and give you a workout that you can finish, but just barely.
The first session
We ask that you come 10 minutes early to your first session so that you can meet your coach, discuss your fitness background & any injury concerns and the paperwork can be signed. (Standard Release and Indemnity form).
During your first visit your coach will guide you through our warm-up. We will observe you and determine your level of fitness. From that point on, every time you walk in our door, you will be trained according to YOUR level of fitness. As your fitness improves, and it will, the workouts become harder.
Before the workout
It is important that you are adequately hydrated and fuelled for your workout. Make sure that you have been drinking water before the workout (you should be doing this anyway).
What should I wear / bring?
We recommend you wear comfortable clothing that is appropriate for physical activity. It is important that all clothing allows full range of movement of all body parts.
Bring a bottle of water, a sweat towel and your energy!
“CrossFit is about taking challenges head on and smashing it out of the stadium. Since I started CrossFit, I have more ENERGY and make better decisions through a stronger & fitter body and mind…” John
